10 criteria by which to judge Indian music
1	Playing in Sur
2	Playing in Lay
3	Technical control of voice or instrument
4	Raga - structural knowledge and proper handling in accord with raga
5	Raga - intuitive access to a specific traditional subtle and specific universe improvisational skill, aesthetic sense, imagination and freedom of movement within raga
6	Respect for and identification with guru or ideal
7	Stage presentation and entertaining factor
8	Humility - access to bhava
9	Power of relying on and conveying subtle personal emotional vision in apparent "slowness" and "awkwardness" onto a restless public waiting to be "entertained" - but not giving in to entertainment gimmicks.
10	Ability to bring a high art of old days to life and have it make sense in a universal and contemporary way. (Points of one to ten may be scored for each subject)
